9 days and counting...

In just 9 days Devin and I will be taking the trip of a lifetime!

We are traveling with our best friends to London, Paris, Munich, Venice, and Rome.

I am so excited I can hardly stand it.

I can't wait.

I need to go pack.

I've somehow managed to be really busy lately, and no matter how bad I wanted to keep my life documented, I've been slacking. So... here's what you missed in chronological order.

This marks Devin and my 2 year wedding anniversary. In a way, it seems like forever ago when we tied the knot, but in other ways, I can't believe 2 years has already flown by. Sometimes I still have "I don't even know you" moments, his dimples make me blush, and I think way back to Springdale, AR where I somehow had the nerve to talk to him. Man am I glad I had too much sugar and not enough sleep that day.

We have created a happy little home with our two wiener children (which is plenty for now). We (Devin) have put a hole through our garage ceiling trying to make room in our attic; a.k.a home improvement(?). He's helped me with crafts, I've sat in deer stands with him. We've been to Jamaica, Mexico, Arizona and the Grand Canyon. We got Devin the boat he's always wanted and got me a tan in the process. We've picked each other up when the other has been down. Overall, it has been a good two years and there is no other person I would want to share that with. I am thankful every day I have him.

Enough with all the mushy stuff. This weekend we went white water rafting with my friends from work. It was a blast, as always! Here are some pictures from the trip!

Today I turned 25. One quarter of a century. Kind of a milestone. Luckily I spent this day in good company on the lake and then had a wonderful dinner at Bonefish. Devin tried to surprise me by suggesting we do dinner on our own and we could hang out with friends later. He was planning on having everyone there anyway. I ruined the surprise by asking approximately 2 questions before he caved and told me everything. I love him. But he can get nothing past me.

Auburn vs. Utah State

We visited Patrick in Auburn for the opening game of the 2011 Auburn football season. This game was way too close for comfort, but was exciting to watch nonetheless. Mostly, I was just happy to be spending the day with two of my most favorite people, doing something we all love.

We got to spend a whole weekend with my brother and sister!! Me, Devin, Max, and Molly made the trip down to Auburn for a little family rivalry. Auburn vs. Mississippi State. This was one of the most exciting games ever!! All the way down to the last play! Auburn won 41-34. And most of the family was happy with that outcome! Some pictures from the weekend...
